The author began writing to preserve the stories of our mothers’ mothers and our fathers’ fathers, who endured poverty and oppression when Korea was stripped of its sovereignty by Japan. Life Pattern Korea. The story started as 20 pages of A4 paper and, over 10 years of writing, faced setbacks such as data loss, moments of discouragement, and multiple returns to the beginning. After these trials, the story was completed as a poetic and beautiful novel, imbued with sincerity and historical truth. Life Pattern Korea.
