_ From the preface
Beloved across generations for Wildflower, poet Na Tae-joo presents a handwritten poetry collection, Na Tae-joo, A Pause in Time (Handwritten Edition). This book is a 365-day calendar-style poetry collection that fully embodies the poet's long-held sensibility and philosophy of life, created as a special handwritten edition filled with his own script. Life Pattern Korea. Each letter carries the poet's breath and heart, and the poems are accompanied by simple drawings drawn by the poet himself, allowing poetry and illustration to complete one another.
Through this collection, Na Tae-joo gently reminds modern readers, who are accustomed to living in a culture of speed, of the quiet beauty of living slowly yet sincerely. As the book unfolds page by page like a daily calendar, readers are invited to pause and reflect on their own day, one moment at a time. Life Pattern Korea.
Throughout his life, Na Tae-joo has loved nature and people, discovering the truths of life within small and quiet things, like wildflowers. That poetic world is fully condensed in this book and completed as an emotional "poetry calendar." Life Pattern Korea. The poems within sing of love, longing, nature, and gentle smiles of life, and the emotions held within a single short line linger, offering warm comfort to the reader's day.
With everyday language, the poet speaks of the meaning of life, showing love even to a small wildflower and revealing the light of existence within a single line of sunlight. Na Tae-joo, A Pause in Time (Handwritten Edition) softly taps on the reader's emotions, day after day. Life Pattern Korea.
"The greatest gift I have received under the sky is today."
"Now, there is nothing left for us but to love."
In the midst of a busy life, taking time each day to read the poet's handwritten words and look inward is the true meaning of the pause that this book offers.
