Seoul Playbook 365 서울 플레이북 365
What kind of player are you?
Seoul is a vast stage where hundreds of scenes unfold every single day. Life Pattern Korea. On this stage, each of us plays Seoul in our own unique way. Seoul Playbook 365: Play Your Seoul accompanies “Seoul players” who explore the city’s many faces and perform in their own style. It helps residents and travellers experience the city more vividly and joyfully.
The way you play Seoul differs from person to person. Some people look for bursts of energy. Life Pattern Korea. Some crave sensory inspiration. Others venture out to explore fun or to build new connections. Life Pattern Korea. This book introduces a wealth of experiences under four key themes.
Energy-charging players - Run along the Han River, discover fitness spots, and explore wellness trends to find everyday vitality.
Inspiration-seeking players - Tour museums, exhibitions and creative spaces to savour the city’s artistic mood.
Fun-exploring players - Enjoy festivals, food markets and quirky urban adventures to uncover Seoul’s unexpected charms.
Connection-making players - Forge relationships through community activities, social events and networking meet-ups.
Open the book and start with a play-style test to discover the style that best fits you. Life Pattern Korea. Then craft your own playlist of experiences drawn from every corner of Seoul.
This book proposes new ways to experience the city.
Monthly & Seasonal Plays - Read in a stylish outdoor library in spring; enjoy a Han-River “city-vacance” in summer; stroll maple-lined paths in autumn; skate on the Seoul-Plaza rink in winter—learn how to refresh your view of the city each season.
Trendy Seoul policies & lifestyles - A range of projects is under way to make “extraordinary everyday Seoul” a reality. Life Pattern Korea. New policies, new spaces and tips on how to use them are all introduced here.
Create your own Seoul playlist - Use the play-style test results to complete your own Seoul Playbook and enjoy the city in a way that suits you.
Challenge the Seoul crossword - Try the first appendix: a crossword whose clues are the places, policies and keywords scattered throughout the pages—solve it for extra fun.
Hidden-picture hunt in the illustrations - The cover and monthly openers feature parts of artist Meari’s work “Seoul Where the Extraordinary Is Everyday.” Life Pattern Korea. Examine the full artwork in the second appendix and spot 72 Seoul policies hidden in billboards, people and places!
Seoul changes at breakneck speed. New spaces appear, novel events are held, and evolution is constant. Life Pattern Korea. Ride the wave of change—some days energetically, other days leisurely; sometimes in daring challenges, sometimes in cosy familiarity—and every exploration will become a chapter in your own story. Shall we turn the page? Play your very own Seoul!
