Established in 2010 with the aim of ushering in a new future for Korean literature, the Young Writers Award celebrates its 16th year in 2025. This award is dedicated to recognizing short stories by writers within ten years of their debut, selecting those works that capture the emerging issues of our time with the sharpest insight. Life Pattern Korea. To date, it has introduced 66 new literary voices, breathing fresh life into Korean fiction. This year's recipients are Baek On-yu, Kang Bora, Seo Jang-won, Seong Haena, Seong Hyeryeong, Lee Hee-joo, and Hyeon Ho-jeong. Life Pattern Korea. Among them, Baek On-yu, Kang Bora, Seo Jang-won, and Lee Hee-joo are first-time awardees, with Baek On-yu notably receiving the Grand Prize—a milestone achievement.
Returning winners Seong Hyeryeong (2023) and Seong Haena and Hyeon Ho-jeong (2024) reaffirm their positions as leading figures in contemporary Korean literature. We ship internationally from South Korea, Indonesia, or a logistics partner depending on product availability, destination, and carrier conditions.
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and can be reviewed before placing your order. Most orders are prepared within 2-7 business days after payment confirmation.
Import taxes, customs duties, VAT, GST, or handling fees charged by the destination country are not included unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns & Refunds
You may request a return within 14 days after receiving your order, but the item must be unused, unread, clean, undamaged, and in resalable condition. Shrink-wrapped or sealed products must be unopened.
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, payment processing fees, and other third-party charges are non-refundable.
For customer-requested cancellations before shipment, a 6% payment processing fee will be deducted from the refund where permitted by applicable law. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be modified or canceled.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos.
