불광출판사
"Didn't you work so hard today, too?" Nothing much may have happened, so why does the heart feel this heavy? On the subway ride home from work, your thoughts are already living in tomorrow. One word from someone, one passing expression, quietly follows you even late into the night. Life Pattern Korea. Even as you lie in bed, the scenes of the day replay again, and things that have already ended take up a corner of your heart as if they have not ended at all.
We often ask ourselves, "Am I too sensitive?" "Why do I get shaken by something as small as this?" But this book does not answer those questions too easily. Life Pattern Korea. Instead, it gently takes the questions themselves somewhere a little different.
When Thoughts Rest.
This book does not tell you to do more. It does not quietly push you to become stronger or to be more okay. Instead, it tells you that it is all right to set down, just for a moment, the things you have always been doing. Life Pattern Korea. In the moment when the thoughts you have been holding onto so tightly pause for a while, a quiet place is revealed, something familiar but never truly seen before.
Something that is not understood through explanation, but quietly noticed at some point.
Like a door that seemed as if it would open only if you forced it, but then slides open the moment you take one step back, this book shows a way to meet the heart in a manner completely different from what we had been trying so hard to find. Life Pattern Korea.
A time not to gain something more, but to quietly recognize what has already been there. A book that stays beside you and slowly seeps in, rather than trying to explain. Life Pattern Korea. And then, at some point, you suddenly notice it: a heart that feels strangely lighter, even though nothing has changed. In that brief pause when thoughts rest, you discover something that was already enough.
