This textbook is for 15 weeks of regular undergraduate and graduate classes, and international students above the intermediate level or higher in Korean language. The contents are organized based on various topics for use in non-regular classes at the Korean Language Institute and special classes at the Family Center and the Migrant Workers Center. In addition, this book presents various videos that can be referenced to help Korean learners understand the content.
Although this textbook is presented in the order of myths, legends, and folktales, it is okay to start classes in the order of legends and myths, starting with folktales based on plots and themes widely distributed around the world. In addition, if after-class activities are centered on comparing the stories and cultures of the learner's motherland through learner-centered speaking and presentation classes, more active participation can be induced.
