I will cross time for you 세계를 건너 너에게 갈게
.
As her father’s remarriage nears, Eun-yu becomes uneasy. She is about to have a mother that she never had, but she doesn’t know anything about her birth mother. Everything about her is a secret, as if she had never existed. Father rarely pays attention to her, and she’s not comfortable with the soon-to-be stepmother, “that woman.” Father suggests she write a letter to herself a year from now. But her letter unexpectedly reaches another Eun-yu, who lives in 1982, 34 years ago. When she reads the letter full of newly coined words, the past Eun-yu suspects that the sender could be a spy; and the present Eun-yu believes someone is playing a joke on her. Their relationship starts with a misunderstanding, but with the “lucky coin,” it gets better, and they share their concerns and secrets.
They decide to solve each other’s issues using the time difference. Present-day Eun-yu gives information about future events that could help past Eun-yu, who is constantly compared to her sister. Past Eun-yu searches for the “mother” that present-day Eun-yu has wanted to know about all her life.
Based on the information provided by present-day Eun-yu, past Eun-yu accepts the challenge and looks for her parents. Because of a wrong start, things don’t work out as she wanted, but she encounters an unexpected person in an unexpected place. She runs into another link aside from the letter that connects the two Eun-yus—something that shakes both of their lives to the core. At this juncture, the story meets a turning point. And at the end, their worlds come together, at which moment they realize what miracle they have been experiencing. Readers will nod as they find out why their letters had to be delivered to each other across time.
